 In the summer of 2005, Beliz Demircioglu Cihandide and Jamie Allen received a Baryshnikov Arts Center Fellowship to work on a new interactive dance piece. This pilot project was a great opportunity. Beliz and Jamie had the honor to work with Tere O’Connor as a dance mentor and received great feedback from Mikhail Baryshnikov and Merce Cunningham among many other artists and critics. Over six weeks of rehearsal culminated in a 45 minute piece for spatial (quadraphonic) audio, interactive visuals and original dance.
